Behold the power of family dinner!

"That's something I've noticed about food: whenever there's a crisis, if you can get people to eating normally things get better."
- Madeleine L'Engle

I think L'Engle's observation is all the more true when that food is shared with family and friends. It's been a perfect week to reflect on this as we prepare for Thanksgiving and spend time with family and friends whom we rarely see. And having special time around a table with those we love does, indeed, have many benefits, drawing us close together after a long day -- or even months -- apart.

Wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving and all of the joys that follow time together at the table.
